People this site has become very quiet,I myself also only surf the net on weekends so let us liven things up with a riddle. Let me know the scripture where the following riddle is found.

Well I am back. Well done on the answer to the riddle, how about leaving a riddle from the Bible yourself and it is not cheating to look it up anything in the Bible- it's God's word.

"Seldom on earth do I appear" - Whales swim underwater, only occasionally surfacing to get air.
"For purpose wise which God did see, He put a living soul in me.
A soul from me God did claim,And took from me the soul again.
So, when from me the soul had fled, I was the same as when first made" - This is the story of Jonah and the whale. “Now the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.”
“Without hands or feet” - whales have fins and tails, not hands or feet.
"Thousands of people, young and old will by my death great light behold" - people used whale fat for light back then
